Employer’s Responsibilities

A successful international recruitment process requires close cooperation between the employer and Orchard International. To ensure timely recruitment, legal compliance, and smooth deployment of workers, employers are requested to provide the necessary documents and approvals in accordance with the laws and regulations of the destination country.

Orchard International works closely with employers throughout this process and provides professional guidance to facilitate efficient and successful manpower deployment.

  1. Workforce Demand & Job Order

The employer should provide a formal manpower demand or job order clearly specifying:

  • Job titles and categories
  • Number of workers required
  • Salary and benefits
  • Working hours
  • Contract period
  • Other employment terms and conditions

This information enables Orchard International to recruit and mobilize the most suitable candidates.

  1. Power of Attorney (POA)

The employer shall issue a duly authorized Power of Attorney (POA) appointing Orchard International as its recruitment representative for sourcing and deploying workers from Bangladesh.

Where required by the destination country’s regulations, the POA should be authenticated by the appropriate authorities, including:

  • Chamber of Commerce
  • Ministry of Foreign Affairs
  • Bangladesh Embassy or Consulate
    (where applicable)
  1. Demand Letter / List of Required Workers

The employer should provide an official demand letter or manpower requisition indicating:

  • Job titles
  • Number of workers
  • Salary structure
  • Employment benefits
  • Workplace location

The job titles should correspond with the approved visa or work permit documentation to ensure consistency throughout the recruitment process.

  1. Employment Agreement

The employer should provide a standard employment contract outlining the terms and conditions of employment, including:

  • Position and duties
  • Salary and allowances
  • Accommodation
  • Food (where applicable)
  • Transportation
  • Medical benefits
  • Working hours
  • Leave entitlement
  • Insurance and other contractual
    benefits

The employment contract should comply with the labour laws of both Bangladesh and the destination country.

  1. Visa & Supporting Documents

The employer is responsible for obtaining the required work visas or work permits and providing all supporting recruitment documents necessary for processing and deployment in accordance with the applicable government regulations.

  1. Compliance with Employment Contract

Both the employer and the employee are expected to fully comply with the agreed employment contract.

The employer should provide the salary, benefits, accommodation, transportation, medical coverage, and other employment conditions exactly as stated in the signed employment agreement.

  1. Coordination & Communication

The employer should maintain timely communication with Orchard International throughout the recruitment process by providing approvals, interview schedules, visa updates, and deployment instructions whenever required.

Efficient coordination helps minimize processing time and ensures the successful mobilization of workers.
